Bridgewell bolsters board for expansion drive

Corporate finance house Bridgewell has hired Sir Nigel Rudd as chairman and former Schroders banker Gerry Grimstone as a non-executive director.

The appointments accompany a £10m (€15.8) private placing by Bridgewell, which was formed in 2000 to acquire investment bank Singer & Friedlander's corporate finance business.
