Britannic boosts fixed income team

Britannic Asset Management, the UK-based fund management group, has appointed Phil Heaney as investment manager, responsible for credit analysis.

Heaney joins Britannic from Westdeutsche Landesbank where he was a credit analyst for financial institutions. The addition of Heaney makes the Britannic fixed income team seven-strong. The team manages £6bn (€9.7bn) in corporate bonds, index-linked bonds and gilts.
