Capital Z moves into high yield

Capital Z Investments, the $2.25bn (€1.85bn) US alternative investment house, is betting on improved opportunities for hedge funds specialising in high-yield debt. It has backed Burton Weinstein and Jeff Schachter, fund managers of Cedarview Capital Management, a US long/short fund with $50m in seed capital.
