Carlyle Europe buys satellite telecoms from Kingston

Carlyle Europe Venture Partners has underlined its shift from start-ups to later-stage investments with the £34m (€50m) purchase of a communications company which is breaking even at the pre-tax level.

Carlye Europe, the European technology investment arm of US-based Carlyle Group, has bought Kingston Inmedia from the UK-listed telecoms group Kingston Communications.
