The Carlyle Group, the private equity firm, has hired Daniel Harris as a managing director and head of public market investor relations, based in New York. Harris was previously a senior research analyst at Goldman Sachs, where he covered businesses including exchanges, discount brokers, and investment banks. He began his duties on March 14.
