Carlyle invests in Trema

The Carlyle Group, the global private equity firm, has led the €22m ($20.4m) investment in Trema, the financial services technology company, marking Carlyle's fourth investment in the financial services sector from its €732m European venture fund.

Trema's technology integrates back office across a range of financial instruments, allowing users to review their exposure across all their positions. Its flagship product, Finance KIT, is a real-time straight through processing (STP) treasury, risk, cash, and asset management system. Finance KIT can also be used as a platform for providing outsourcing solutions to financial institutions and their customers.
