Cassius Ventures appoints CEO

Cassius Ventures, the Canadian private equity firm, has appointed John Thomas as its new chief executive. Currently the president of the company, Thomas is a former chief executive of Loewen Ondaatje McCutcheon & Co, a Canadian investment dealer. Jason Birmingham has stepped down as the company's chief executive, but will remain a director of the firm.
