Chair of Saudi National Bank who sparked Credit Suisse turmoil resigns

Ammar Al Khudairy's comments were partly blamed for other investors losing confidence in the Swiss lender

Ammar Al Khudairy, the chair of Saudi National Bank, has reportedly resigned and will be replaced by the bank’s chief executive officer, Saeed Mohammed Al Ghamdi, Bloomberg reported on 27 March.

Comments from Al Khudairy sparked a selloff in Credit Suisse stock and wider stress across global financial markets a little over two weeks ago.
