Chancellor changes tack on non-doms

Lawyers have welcomed a decision by Chancellor of the Exchequer Alistair Darling to ease proposals on the future taxation of non-domiciled residents in the UK.

Richard Jordan of legal firm Thomas Eggar said: "He's basically caved in and answered our concerns."
