Kevin Chen, formerly of Amundi Alternative Investments, has announced is starting an Asia-focused global macro fund Anji Capital Management, according to Bloomberg. The fund will start operations early next year. Chen was previously co-head of alternative portfolio management and senior portfolio manager at Amundi. Before that, he was director of asset allocation at Morgan Stanley and a consultant for the Swiss Organisation for Facilitating Investments, a joint initiative between the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs and KPMG.
