Chiswell hires Carpenter as charity specialist

Chiswell Associates, the charity-focused investment management firm, has made its second big hire in a month with the appointment of Michael Carpenter as a consultant in the charity sector.

Carpenter retired from the Charity Commission last September where he was the executive legal charity commissioner. He has spent over 30 years in private practice as a solicitor specialising in charity, private client and taxation work. He was a partner at Slaughter & May, the UK law firm, for 20 years.
