Church looks to overseas property

The Church of England has set up an active currency management programme and invested over €100m ($137m) in property and private equity, as it sells UK property in favour of overseas opportunities.

The £5.3bn (€7.8bn) Church Commissioners' fund has shunned UK property investments and invested $71m in the Peter Cooper Village Stuyvesant Town Limited Partnership in New York and $75m in the MGP Asia III fund.
