CIO of Mercer’s wealth business steps down

Veteran consultant Andrew Kirton played a lead role in Mercer’s response to the CMA’s probe into the industry

Andrew Kirton, global chief investment officer at Mercer’s wealth business, is to leave the investment consultancy in mid-March.

Kirton, who has been with the company for 21 years, is one of its top representatives in Europe. He had spent much of the past two years playing a lead role in Mercer’s response to the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority’s probe into the investment consulting industry.
