Citi hires former prime minister of Denmark as special adviser

Anders Fogh Rasmussen, who is also an ex-secretary-general of Nato, will advise Citi’s investment bank in Europe

Citigroup has hired the former prime minister of Denmark and ex-secretary general of Nato as a special adviser to its investment bank in Europe. 

The US bank has named Anders Fogh Rasmussen, who spent 23 years in Danish politics before joining Nato in 2009, as a special adviser in its Europe, Middle East and Africa operations with a focus on the Nordic region.
