Citigroup awards banking head Raghavan $40m in stock

The former JPMorgan banker has taken on a wide-ranging role

Citigroup has awarded its recently appointed head of banking Viswas Raghavan $40m in stock options as he looks to turn some of its key business lines around.

Raghavan, who was drafted in from JPMorgan where he headed its leading dealmaking unit, has been handed a generous award from his new employer, according to a regulatory filing.
