Citigroup cuts 10% of investment banking jobs

Citigroup will cut 10% of its global corporate investment banking workforce in the latest round of redundancies at the US bank.

A bank source said the cuts would be at various levels, and that they were mainly in the advisory business, which includes mergers and acquisitions and sector coverage teams. This is the fifth round of cuts in 18 months.
