City watchdog fines FX options broker TFS-Icap £3.4m for misleading clients

Brokers at TFS-Icap misled clients to encourage them to make trades between 2008 and 2015

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has fined FX options broker TFS-Icap £3.44m for misleading clients to try and generate business.

Between 2008 and 2015, brokers at TFS-Icap carried out the practice of “printing” trades, the FCA said.
