CMC Markets mulls separation of leveraged and non-leveraged units

CMC's acquisition of over 500,000 of ANZ's share investing clients means assets have increased to approximately £40bn

CMC Markets is in the “very early stages” of considering a managed separation of its leveraged and non-leveraged divisions in a bid to unlock value for its investors.

In a 15 November statement, CMC's board said it was weighing up the move as part of a broader strategy for maximising shareholder value.
