Co-op Bank CEO resigns after two years in role

Andrew Bester is leaving the role for ‘a new personal challenge’

The chief executive officer of the Co-operative Bank, Andrew Bester, has resigned.

In a 6 October statement, the UK retail bank said the outgoing CEO is leaving the Co-op Bank for “a new personal challenge” but will remain in his position until a successor has been chosen.
