Commerzbank Securities has partnered with UK private equity house Patron Capital to make joint investments in property and financial institutions throughout Western Europe.

The aim is to expand the businesses' principal finance activities, and Keith Breslauer, managing director at Patron Capital, said the plan is to have a buying power of $2bn.
