Coronation chief makes abrupt exit

The London-based chief executive of Coronation Fund Managers, one of the top 20 fund of hedge funds managers with $10bn (€8bn) under management, has resigned suddenly.

André du Plessis, who had been with Coronation since 2001, resigned on a matter of principle, according to a friend, who declined to give further details.
