Crédit Agricole hikes asset management revenues 14%

Crédit Agricole Asset Management increased revenues by 14% to €777m ($950m) in the three months to March 31 after benefiting from a surge in international business.

The results follow the firm's agreement this week with Banca Intesa to take a 65% stake in the Italian lender's struggling fund management arm, Nextra Investment Management. The combined fund manager will become the fourth largest in Europe.
