Credit Suisse has named Garrett Curran as its new UK chief executive, with incumbent James Leigh-Pemberton leaving for UK Financial Investments.

While Leigh-Pemberton, who starts at UKFI on Monday, is known for his client list and advisory expertise, Curren comes from a securities background, spanning both fixed income and equity derivatives.
