Credit Suisse distressed debt head joins hedge fund

Credit Suisse's co-head of distressed debt has quit to join a US-based hedge fund specialising in the trading of reduced-value corporate securities, as firms scramble for talent ahead of an expected resurgence in company insolvencies.

Kevin Lydon, co-head of special situations and head of distressed debt trading, resigned earlier this week to join Strategic Value Partners, one of the leading distressed debt traders.
