Credit Suisse looks set for a contentious AGM vote on Friday next week as shareholders and their voting advisers set out opposition to a proposed new share-award plan for its senior executives. But the opposition is not universal.

On Tuesday, the influential shareholders' voting adviser, ISS, publicly released its verdict on the Credit Suisse AGM, recommending a vote against resolution 4.2 - which would set aside capital to fund future share awards to the bank's employees.
