Near-disasters at Credit Suisse and Silicon Valley Bank have been good news for one corner of the market at least: bitcoin is soaring.

The cryptocurrency hit $27,800 on 21 March, a 37% increase in 10 days, as investors were buoyed by the token’s narrative as a safe haven amid upheaval in mainstream finance.
