Credit Suisse First Boston has hired Alan Norris from UBS to co-head its global chemicals business following the departure of Hugo Heath.

The bank has decided not to replace Heath directly, but make Norris the newly-created global co-head based in London, working with Richard Whitley, co-head based in New York.
