Donald Meltzer has been promoted from head of European mergers and acquisitions at Credit Suisse First Boston to global co-head of the department.

Meltzer, currently based in London, will return to New York to work with fellow M&A co-heads Steve Koch, Scott Lindsay and Gordon Rich.
