RBC hires ex-UBS ECM head

A former co-head of Emea equity capital markets at the Swiss bank is set to take up a new London-based role with RBC in August

Darrell Uden, the former UBS equity capital markets banker and a previous entrant on the FN100, has taken up a senior ECM role at RBC Capital Markets.

The Canadian bank has hired Uden as a managing director and head of European ECM and corporate broking, a role he will assume in London from August 1. Uden will take over these responsibilities from Josh Critchley, who remains co-head of European investment banking.
