De Combret exits Lazard

François de Combret, a partner in Lazard's Paris office, is leaving after 23 years. The bank issued no formal statement. A banking source close to Lazard confirmed his departure but a spokesman for Lazard declined to comment.

French banking sources said today that de Combret had left the firm and was close to retirement.
