DeAM loses €8bn of assets

Deutsche Asset Management suffered net asset outflows of €8bn in the second quarter of this year as it struggles to make the transition from balanced to specialist management.

Nearly two thirds - or €5bn - of those outflows came from institutions, according to the company's half-year results. DeAM's UK arm has lost four big balanced accounts in two months.
