Debt charity names Hector Sants successor

John Griffith-Jones, a former chair of the FCA, takes over at StepChange on January 7

StepChange, a UK financial charity that provides free advice to around 300,000 people a year on their debt, has picked a successor to Sir Hector Sants, its chair. The charity opted for another senior alumnus of the Financial Conduct Authority, the UK regulator.

John Griffith-Jones, who chaired the FCA between 2013 and 2018, will take over on January 7, the debt charity said in a statement the same day.
