Deutsche adopts new remuneration system

Deutsche Bank is changing its compensation philosophy away from the traditional investment banking focus on individual revenue production towards one based on franchise building and teamwork.

Michael Cohrs and Bob Cotter, who became co-heads of global corporate finance last week, believe that the 'one-way view' of revenue production - which broadly promotes individuals - is a poor way of evaluating performance or teamwork.
