Deutsche advises LloydsTSB on £2.25bn sale

Deutsche Bank has landed its first M&A mandate for LloydsTSB by advising it on the £2.25bn (€3.2bn) sale of National Bank of New Zealand to the Australia and New Zealand banking group.

In the past, LloydsTSB has worked extensively with JP Morgan as well as Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch. On this occasion, Deutsche was rewarded for bringing the idea of the transaction to the attention of LloydsTSB.
