Deutsche and Newton bag Lancashire mandates

Deutsche Asset Management and Newton Fund Managers have each won approximately £550m from the £2.4bn (€4bn) Lancashire County Council pension fund.

Phillips & Drew lost its entire £530m mandate while Schroder Investment Management had to give up half of its £1.17bn because of performance concerns. William M Mercer advised the Lancashire fund on its review of the active/balanced portion of the fund.
