Deutsche Bank appoints Seth Waugh

Deutsche Bank has appointed ex-Merrill man Seth Waugh as vice-chairman of its US executive committee.

Waugh left Merrill's bond division in January last year after 11 years at the bank. He went on to become chief executive of quantitative financial strategies, a $2bn Connecticut-based hedge fund.
