Deutsche Bank raises €1.5bn from five ECM deals

Deutsche Bank has raised almost €1.5bn ($1.5bn) from five equity capital market deals in the past month, after selling its own 7.5% stake in Continental, the German tyre manufacturer.

The bank sold 10.1 million Continental shares at €14.1 per share, which was Continental's closing price on Monday, raising €142.4m. A banking source said the book closed within an hour and was heavily oversubscribed. Continental was trading up 5.7% at €14.95 on Tuesday afternoon.
