Deutsche Börse boosts information unit with Infobolsa deal

Deutsche Börse has acquired a 50% stake in Infobolsa, the real-time financial information subsidiary of Bolsa de Madrid, in an effort to bolster the German exchange's information products division.

The first fruit of the deal will be a German subsidiary, Infobolsa Deutschland, which will launch services for the German-language markets in December. Users will access the subsidiary via Infobolsa's Windows-based financial information system, NetStation, or directly through an integrated data stream.
