Deutsche Börse cash market hit by outage

Outage on the German exchange's Xetra platform follows a significant technical glitch on NYSE yesterday

Deutsche Börse on Friday morning became the latest trading platform to succumb to technical problems after it suffered a near one-hour outage on its Xetra cash equities market.

The Xetra platform began operating at 08:00am central European time as normal, but at 09:13am experienced what it called "constraints in handling orders in some products," according to a press statement.
