City diversity champion Brenda Trenowden dies aged 55: ‘She was a true warrior’

Trenowden, who joined PwC's diversity and inclusion division in 2019, took over as chair of the 30% Club's UK chapter from Helena Morrissey in 2015

Brenda Trenowden, one of the City's most prominent diversity champions and former chair of the 30% Club, has died aged 55.

Trenowden, who joined PwC's diversity and inclusion division in 2019, took over as chair of the 30% Club's UK chapter from Baroness Helena Morrissey in 2015. She later went on to become co-chair of the global campaign and in 2018 was awarded a CBE for services to the financial sector and gender equality. She stepped down as co-chair in 2020.
