DLJ gets in on Deutsche Telekom deal

Deutsche Telekom has chosen Dresdner Kleinwort Benson (DrKB) and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ) to advise it on its $50.7bn (€54.2bn) acquisition of US wireless operator VoiceStream.

It is the first time that US bank DLJ has worked with Deutsche Telekom. Traditionally Goldman Sachs has advised the German telco, but this time it is working with long-term client VoiceStream, in which it has a shareholding.
