Doughty Hanson plans $500m fund

The flood of technology investment funds is to be swelled by a planned $500m European pool being raised by Doughty Hanson, the international private equity firm, reports the Financial Times.

The group has hired two senior investors, who headed Intel's European corporate venture division, to run the fund, which will be based in London.
