The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), the US settlement agency, has launched Global Corporate Action (GCA), a validation service that provides an automated, centralised source of "scrubbed" corporate action announcement information.

The service analyses a wide range of corporate action information, eliminating the need for individual firms to do this work. Both straightforward mandatory events and complex voluntary offerings are covered by the service.
