Dunedin strikes oil and gas deal

The booming oil and gas sector has attracted the interest of private equity firms in recent years

UK private equity firm Dunedin has acquired oil and gas technology company EV Offshore in a £69 million deal, as Europe’s private equity firms continue to scour the booming sector for buyout opportunities.

In a statement, mid-market firm Dunedin said it had agreed to buy EV from Lime Rock Partners, a specialist oil and gas growth capital investor.
