UK private equity firm ECI Partners is lining up a new year sale of software company Fourth, after appointing advisers to sell the firm for over £200 million.

ECI has appointed investment bank Jefferies to sell Fourth, a software business which provides management systems to hotels and restaurants, according to four people familiar with the matter.
