ECI to refinance Café Rouge

The private equity owners of the UK's Café Rouge are weighing up a possible refinancing or sale of the French-themed restaurant chain, which has 77 sites in England and Scotland.

ECI Partners, a mid-market house, which acquired Café Rouge through a £25m (€36m) management buy-out of Tragus, a holding company, in 2002, has appointed Hawkpoint Partners to advise it on its options.
