eFrontiers winds down fledgling operation

eFrontiers, a San Francisco-based online transaction platform for pension funds, is winding down operations after little more than six months of operation due to lack of funds.

Steven Cohen, co-founder and president, said that the group was unable to secure its next round of financing from venture capitalists or strategic players. He added that only the seven-strong core management are left from a total team of 20.
