Emerging market credit quality improves

Emerging market corporate credit quality is improving but Latin America continues to the most vulnerable region, according to rating agency Standard & Poor's.

Diane Vazza, head of S&P's global fixed-income research business, said: "The overall tone for corporate credit quality in the emerging markets is still biased towards the negative, based on the distribution of outlook and CreditWatch listings, but the distribution is less negative than recorded a year earlier."
