Emma Douglas, three times listed as one of the most influential women in finance by Financial News, been handed the reins of Legal & General Investment Management’s £48 billion defined contribution pensions business.

Douglas, who has now been promoted twice since she joined the £757 billion manager in January 2014, will from August take up a newly created role as head of LGIM's 400-strong DC business, the company told FN.
