England lockdown will end on 2 December, Johnson tells MPs

The UK Prime Minister’s speech to lawmakers comes amid intensified scrutiny on the delay in introducing another nationwide lockdown

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson told Parliament that England’s lockdown will end on 2 December as lawmakers expressed concern that the four-week lockdown will be extended.

Johnson’s speech follows his announcement that England will go into another lockdown from 5 November.
